Level 2/3 Nursery Assistants – Vacancy No. PK62588
On behalf of a brilliant Nursery in Henley we are currently recruiting for Level 2 & 3 Nursery Assistants to join their wonderful team working with any age group. This modern Nursery has places for up to 70 children and is a supportive and encouraging setting.
These are full time, permanent positions (40 hours/week) and they can offer flexibility with shifts. (7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, 9pm-6pm).
The roles come with a great starting salary of £(phone number removed) per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) with opportunities to develop and progress further within the company, either at this site or at one of their 5 sister Nurseries in the area. Level 2/3 Nursery Assistant Key Duties, You will:
* Create an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and medical needs
* Support other Nursery Assistants and work as a team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children within the setting
* Keep a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
* Create fun and educational activities for the children under your care
* Be responsible for feeding, washing and changing the children, and generally tending to their physical needs
Level 2/3 Nursery Assistant Skills and Experience
* A minimum of NVQ/CACHE Level 2/3 preferred
* A good understanding and knowledge of EYFS
* Ideally 1+ years’ experience of working in a nursery setting
