Job Summary
Caudwell House is a welcoming residential and short break home located in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. We provide care for children with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and health needs. We are seeking a dedicated Night Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people during the night hours. Your primary responsibility will be to provide safe, supportive, and positive care, responding to the needs of children while maintaining a secure environment. You will provide personal and intimate care, administer medication, and carry out health care procedures. Full training will be provided to equip you for these responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
As a Night Care Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Providing personal and intimate care to children, ensuring their comfort and dignity throughout the night and supporting them to get ready for the day ahead.
Administering medication and carrying out health care procedures as required.
Monitoring the well-being of children throughout the night and responding to their needs promptly.
Working collaboratively with the care team to ensure the highest standards of care during night shifts.
Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience in a care setting, particularly with children or individuals with disabilities.
Understanding of personal care needs and health care procedures.
Ability to follow care plans and guidelines accurately.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and families.

Additional Information
Working hours are 9:45pm to 7:45am.
We offer generous enhancements for shift work, including additional pay for hours worked after 8 pm, weekends, and bank holidays. This can significantly increase your annual earnings.
A full induction and ongoing training will be provided to support your development.
