The Central Parts Controller will be responsible for supporting the regions/depots, installations, sales and all areas of the business with technical parts identification & advise on all products. Supporting the regions in busy periods with parts allocations on W/Os, warranty claims and outlying stock management. All centralized stock ordering and purchase order management from manufacturers and distribution to the relevant areas required. Stock level control and analytics to ensure the correct stock type, volumes and any stock cleansing in line with the business demands across all areas. All over the counter external sales for the business. Initial set up and continuous training and support for the regional teams. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, strong technical and ERP system knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Stock Level Control & Analytics: Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to ensure availability of parts to support all areas of the business Implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Work with the regionals to analyze stock to react to business changes Stock Counts: Assist/support in all stock taking requirements for the business Reconcile discrepancies and update inventory records accordingly. Booking Parts to Jobs: Providing technical support to all departments and allocating parts to W/Os when required Ensure proper documentation and tracking of parts usage. Consumable Purchasing: Manage the purchasing of consumables for the central parts operation and other departments when required Ensure timely procurement and availability of consumables and PPE. Goods Receiving Management: Oversee the receiving of all central parts goods and ensure accurate documentation and Purchase Order management Inspect received goods for quality and quantity compliance. Help support the warehouse function in busy periods Warranty Parts Management Support: Support the regions with the management of warranty parts, including returns and replacements and technical advice Ensure proper documentation and tracking of warranty claims. Over the counter sale: Ensure all phones are answered quickly and over the counter sales are processed quickly & efficiently Help grow all over the counter sales for the business by providing technical advice to all customers and looking at ways to increase revenue Stores Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts store. Implement best practices for stores housekeeping and inventory management, liaise with other parts managers to drive consistency across regions. Training & Support: Support initial set up of regions/departments from a technical and ERP level Provide initial and continuous technical & ERP support Qualifications: Proven experience in parts control or inventory management. Nice to have technical knowledge or all makes of refrigeration and tail-lift parts Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Knowledge of warranty parts management and goods receiving processes. Strong knowledge service operations.
