Expleo have an exciting opportunity for experienced Stress Engineers / Analysts. Based in Expleo offices, you will be assigned to a major new defence project, where your skills and experience in Structural Analysis / FEA will be fully utilized
Responsibilities
Responsibilities within your role will include (but not limited to)
* Interfacing with UK based Team to understand technical issues / specifications and requirements
* Undertaking Finite Element Analysis Simulations using Abaqus CAE of marine structural seats / brackets / bolts
* Work with the customer to determine solutions for failed simulations
* Writing Analysis reports
* Producing quality while keeping within project budgets & time constraints and potentially changing requirements
* Apply correct processes, specifications procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams
Qualifications
* HNC/HND in mechacnical engineering
* Degree in mechanical engineering
Essential Skills
* FEA Modelling
* Abaqus CAE
* MathCAD (beneficial but not essential)
* Microsoft Office Skills
Experience
* Minimum of 5 years experience in stress analysis
* Marine engineering desirable
