T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a CAD technician to join our client in Moira, Swadlincote on a Permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity as a CAD technician to train into the role of Project Engineer!
As the CAD technician, you will be responsible for materialising new projects, helping to manage current projects within the business and helping to identify cost-saving measures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic team with ongoing growth plans and development opportunities.
CAD Technician Benefits;
£28,392-£30,000 per annum with additional scope for the right candidate
Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm
33 days holiday including bank holidays

CAD Technician Job Details;
Talking to customers and running through enquiries
Designing tooling, fixtures and components
Use the Companies 3D Design software to produce the engineering drawings
Extract information from customer drawings to prepare internal drawings
Create a bill of material and routes ready for the components to be manufactured
Ensure that relevant drawings and information are available for other departments to facilitate the production of required parts
To ensure that all work / tasks / procedures / documentation meet the requirements of ISO 9001
CAD Technician Specification;
Knowledge of basic engineering principles and procedures
Ability to read engineering drawings, perform basic manual, and machine measurements
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs
Good knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) with willingness to learn and improve skills
Engineering Qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
