Office based in Whitstable Kent
This is a diverse role that focuses on editorial creation and management, but includes idea generation, creative oversight, clinical writing, team management, social media activity, client interaction and account handling.
The right candidate will be passionate about providing content of the highest quality for a number of clients across various business sectors. They must also be able to work closely with a team of 5 fantastic in-house writers with various experience levels, fuelling their enthusiasm, encouraging their development, providing support as required and training new members.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years' experience in content creation and 3 years in a management role. The outgoing team member will also be providing a full handover and comprehensive market training to give the successful candidate the very best start in their new role.
Essential skills in potential candidate:
* Excellent editorial writing across different styles and formats including clinical
* Confident editing and proofreading
* Excellent team management
* Ability to work with and interview various people from sales teams to highly-esteemed academics in a professional manner
* Excellent organisation
* Ability to work on or oversee multiple projects at once across the team
* A keen eye for detail
* Willing to learn intricate clinical information for professional case report generation
Good to have skills:
* Confidence in using Canva
* Social media management
* Experience with Excel spreadsheets
* Experience with at least basic video footage capture and editing
* Experience with various newsletter platforms like MailChimp and Dot Digital
* Experience in training team members or supporting their professional development
* Experience managing a team at professional events and conferences
