Critical to business success is a team of highly skilled project managers working shoulder-to-shoulder with colleagues and customers to ensure effective planning and efficient implementation practices are applied to every project the business undertakes.
Our client is now looking to expand the Project Management team across EMEA to support business acceleration and a growing international footprint. The role, which reports to the Engineering Manager, will be responsible for managing end-to-end client projects (worth up to £10M). From the project ideation, through scoping, testing, execution and post implementation support, you will lead several projects concurrently across the EMEA region. You will have a strong sense of project ownership and an equal commitment to building solid working relationships with cross functional internal colleagues, partners, and customers.
Responsibilities
* Lead the definition of each project scope, acting as the lynchpin between colleagues and customers at every stage.
* Take ownership of each project from ideation through to final sign-off.
* Scope the optimum project team for each assignment based on objectives, financial parameters, and timings.
* Build engagement and motivation with core project team members throughout each project; defining clear, shared objectives.
* Ensure all project documentation is rigorously captured, tightly controlled, and effectively shared to the relevant team members.
* Oversee the financial health of each project and actively manage risks and opportunities.
* Lead and instil a cultural commitment to excellence in project management throughout the team.
* Champion the company’s commitment to working in partnership with customers to develop efficient and effective solutions on every project.
* Act as a company ambassador, internally and externally, consistently living and breathing the culture and values.
* Develop dialogue and successful working relationships across company departments and territories.
* Build established networks with partner organisations where appropriate.
Requirements
* Proven experience in project management in capital equipment solutions across the EMEA region.
* A demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement in every project combined with forensic attention to detail.
* Extensive experience in managing multiple concurrent projects across diverse geographies.
* Skilled at communicating and positively influencing multiple diverse audiences across the project life cycle.
* A true commitment to building trusted connections with colleagues across the business and in partner organisations.
* Based in the UK there will be extensive travel within the region as project needs dictate.
