Job Description
I am working with a Prestige Car Dealership in the Basingstoke area who are seeking to recruit a Parts Advisor to join their team.
The main purpose of the Parts Advisor role is to receive all parts orders and ensure that they are accurately interpreted and promptly picked and despatched for retail, trade and internal / workshop customers.
Main Duties:
1. Developing and maintaining professional relationships with all customers to gain new and repeat business.
2. Receive all parts orders, interpreting customer requirements and giving advice on any additional requirements or prices, matching orders against stock items and advising customer of any items which are not stocked or need ordering.
3. Locate unavailable items from other dealerships and arrange for delivery or pass order to stock control for orders to be raised.
4. Ensuring that all orders taken are fully completed, invoiced and despatched as scheduled and that the customer is kept fully informed of progress or of any problems.
5. Make sure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, referring any unresolved problems to the Parts Supervisor.
6. Ensure that all Company and Trade Associations policies, procedures and minimum standards are met and that all statutory requirements including trading standards, fire, health and safety are adhered to.
7. Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the Mercedes-Benz experience is delivered to all contacts at all times
Requirements
8. 2-years experience as a Parts Advisor, preferably with a main dealership
9. Full driving licence
10. Excellent communication skills
11. Excellent Customer Service skills
Salary: Basic £25,000 OTE £29,000
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08.00 – 18.00 with one hour unpaid break (total 45 hours)
1 in 3 Saturdays to be worked 8:00 – 13:00 to be worked on a rota basis.
