These include: Managing multiple ongoing academisation processes, ensuring the local authority fulfils its statutory duties and coordinates effectively with DfE and converting schools. Leading statutory school organisation proposals, including consultations, documentation, and submissions to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator, all of which are subject to immovable legal timelines. Overseeing a whole-scale school organisation review, which is time-sensitive and essential to ensuring sufficient pupil places across the city in line with demographic forecasts and capital planning.
