Client Relationship Manager / Account Manager | Food Redistribution Charity | £55,000–£60,000 | Full-time | Eccles – Onsite

Since 2016, TBBT has supported over 100,000 people through 145+ community hubs across the North of England. Their mission is simple: make life more affordable, build stronger communities, and reduce food waste.
With an annual income of ~£6m and ambitious plans to scale nationally, TBBT is transforming how surplus food is redistributed.
The Role
This is a relationship-driven role at the heart of TBBT’s supply chain. It is less about logistics and more about Strategic Account Management.
As Client Relationship Manager, you’ll take ownership of key partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers and retailers, ensuring they feel valued, engaged, and confident in the social impact of working with TBBT.
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment where surplus food supply can change daily. Your focus will be on building trust, responding quickly to opportunities, and creating clarity in a complex supply landscape.

What You’ll Do
* Act as the primary contact for manufacturers and food retailers post-sign-up
* Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with suppliers
* Respond quickly to incoming food offers (often perishable and time-sensitive)
* Communicate TBBT’s social impact clearly and persuasively
* Organise supplier tours and engagement opportunities
* Coordinate with internal teams and logistics providers for smooth collections / deliveries
* Produce quarterly impact reports and share data-driven insights with partners
* Represent TBBT externally in meetings and sector communications

* Proven experience in account management or client relationship roles ideally within FMCG (fast moving consumer goods)

* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Confidence in decision-making and managing ambiguity
