We are expanding our Occupational Therapy services and are seeking four occupational therapists within our new Social Care Occupational Therapy Team!

About the Role
This is an exciting new role within our Home First Service. As a key member of our Social Care Occupational Therapy Team, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy in line with the Care Act 2014 focused on preventing, reducing or delaying the need for care and support.
- Conduct Care Act Needs assessments and reviews, including Direct Payment reviews.
- Provide specialist input including functional assessments, equipment provision, and adaptation recommendations.
- Collaborate with other social care professionals to achieve a holistic approach to intervention
- Promote independence, safety, and wellbeing through strength-based approaches, commissioning proportionate, person-centred care.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a qualified and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with:
- Experience in community, hospital, or local authority settings.
- Knowledge of physical and mental health conditions and their impact on function.
- Skills in the functional assessment of adults with a range of physical and mental health conditions.
- Excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills.
- A collaborative, innovative, and problem-solving approach.
- We will consider newly qualified occupational therapists with a background in health, social care, housing or voluntary sector.
Essential Qualifications
- BSc in Occupational Therapy or Diploma of the College of Occupational Therapists
- HCPC Registration

Additional Information
This role involves ICT use, manual handling, and working with clients in a variety of settings.
An enhanced DBS check is required.
You must be able to converse confidently in English as per the Immigration Act 2016.

If appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
