ROLE SUMMARY The International Operational Excellence Senior Manager is a key member of the International Medical Quality Team, responsible for driving operational excellence and seamless execution, co-develops and implements innovative practices for the International Medical Quality Team. The International Operational Excellence Senior Manager will be responsible for specialized quality oriented tasks and ad hoc special projects for various key medical quality oversight initiatives and operational priorities, in support of the team’s Level 1 Quality Oversight for Medical activities. The role interacts and collaborates with the International Medical Quality Lead, Cluster Leads and various other cross functional and divisional partners. An individual contributor, the International Operational Excellence, Senior Manager reports to the I nternational Medical Quality Lead. Ad-hoc International travel may be required ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Drive International MQ operational excellence in alignment with the International MQ Lead. Identify and escalate operational efficiencies in support of IMG strategy. Support the development of International Medical Quality’s strategic operating plan, vision and priorities. Partner with International MQ colleagues, collaborating with GMQG and R&D Medical partners to co-develop quality strategies and approaches that address identified Medical risks. Participate in or lead projects initiated by International Medical Quality, interacting with G MQG stakeholders, International LT members and country-based Medical Quality Governance Managers (MQGMs) in support of International MQ strategic and operational objectives. Prioritise and multitask accordingly. Track key deliverables and budget, provide progress updates; support timely execution and drive project excellence in support of International MQ strategic priorities. Act as a quality consultant and in an advisory capacity for the International MQ division. Identify, share and foster best practice and continuous improvement, driving a culture of quality across International MQ and our cross divisional stakeholder groups. Lead and support the development, preparation and distribution of regional metric/compliance reports and/or dashboards, as needed by International MQ & International Medical stakeholders. Support and conduct quality monitoring for International Medical processes in alignment with global monitoring plans. Maintain key relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment. Ability to utilize technical and subject matter experts to achieve best. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Strong experience in a relevant role(s), preferably in a regulated environment Higher Education (in accordance with local standard, e.g., ‘higher education’ or University Degree level preferred) Demonstrates strong English language, oral and written PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Excellent communication and listening skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of colleagues/ executives/ peers, both verbally and in writing- ability to synthesize materials Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail, accuracy-orientation, and ability to prioritize Ability to work independently or within a team, driving projects and programs to completion with excellence; independent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong follow-through skills; demonstrate great discipline around deadlines, to-do lists, collecting information and materials from colleagues Experience interacting and maintaining relationships with a team of colleagues and key stakeholders, globally and within a matrixed organisation. Demonstrated project, planning and program management skills Proficiency in managing technical applications such as SharePoint, Microsoft office, PLA, PLRS. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS ● Requires exceptional knowledge of own discipline and advanced knowledge of others and applies these skills to ensure a Sub Business Uni​t/Sub Operating Unit meets its goals ● Creates an environment where innovation is standard taking appropriate risks to advance innovative processes ● Develops ideas and leads complex projects across Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit ● Develops innovative solutions to complex problems impacting a Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit ● Exercises own judgment and is a resource for others.
