This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, learning disabilities, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will play a key role in helping students feel supported, included, and confident in their learning environment. The Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to provide tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Your responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils with their academic learning across the curriculum Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCP strategies Encouraging positive social interaction and independence Supporting pupils during transitions and unstructured times Creating a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment Opportunities are available across both primary and secondary settings, offering you the chance to work with different age groups and a variety of needs.
