About the role
Assistant Curators in the History Department assist in the development, documentation, management, and interpretation of the Department’s collection. They contribute to research and the development of exhibitions and public programmes. They also facilitate access to the Collection, and conduct significance assessments of material culture related to Western Australian social history.

The successful applicant will be expected to:
1. Assist with the documentation and management of History collections.
2. Assist with research and development of public programmes related to Western Australian social history, particularly exhibitions.
3. Assist with the management of collection stores, using the Museum database systems.
4. Facilitate appropriate access to History collections and information.
5. Assist with training and supervising volunteers and practicum students.
