Support Worker - LS17
Rate: £13 PER HOUR
Hours: 8 HOURS SCHOOL HOLIDAYS & OCCASIONAL WEEKENDS

Job Description
We are looking for a Personal Assistant for our 13-year-old son who has Down Syndrome and Autism. Joshua would like support in the school holidays for 8 hours and occasional weekends.
Requirements
The perfect candidate must have experience working with children with additional needs and preferably have some knowledge of Makaton.
Activities
Joshua enjoys various activities within the community such as swimming, trampolining, bowling, etc. Lots of fun to be had!
Compensation
Payments will be made through Leeds City Council on a monthly basis at £13 p/h. The council will pay £12.40 towards this hourly rate. All fuel and expenses will also be covered.
Additional Information
The family lives in Shadwell, LS17. Training will be available via the council. A DBS check will be completed prior to starting the role, and 2 references will be taken up. 5.6 weeks holiday pay pro-rata. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance.
