The Role Leading and overseeing SEND provision across the school Managing EHCP processes, annual reviews, and statutory requirements Coordinating interventions and tailored support for pupils with additional needs Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, families, and external agencies Supporting and advising staff on inclusive classroom practice Monitoring progress of pupils with SEND and contributing to whole-school improvement The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete if not already held) Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCPs, and best practice Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills A calm, professional, and pupil-centred approach School Information This Outstanding school in Dorset is recognised for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and high-quality SEN provision.
