Job Title: Freelance Project Director – Events, Expo, & Conferences
Location: West London (Hybrid)
Contract: Freelance (immediate start) on contract running until Aug '25
Overview
Mustard Jobs are looking for a highly skilled Freelance Project Director with a strong track record in delivering large-scale expos, trade shows, and conferences. You’ll lead projects from concept through delivery, managing teams, timelines, budgets, and on-site execution to ensure exceptional event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead planning and execution of major expos and conferences
* Manage timelines, budgets, stakeholders, and suppliers
* Oversee on-site delivery, logistics, and production
* Ensure smooth coordination across all teams and partners
* Provide post-event analysis and reporting
Requirements
* 7+ years' experience in event project management
* Strong background in large-scale B2B/B2C events
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Experience managing teams, budgets, and vendors
* Able to travel and be on-site during key event phases
Nice to Have
* International or hybrid event experience
* Familiarity with event/project management tools
* Experience in the gaming industry or gaming expos
