Salary: £65,000 package
Are you an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager looking for your next opportunity? We're working with a well-established building services contractor that delivers mechanical projects across the retail and commercial sectors - from small maintenance works to major mechanical packages valued up to £1M. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to bring an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager into their team.
The Role
* Managing HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical plant installations
* Overseeing projects valued up £1m mechanical packages
* Leading new build developments, refurbishments, and planned/reactive works
* Preparing programmes, RAMS, method statements, and other project documentation
* Working collaboratively with electrical teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
* Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions where required
Key Responsibilities
* Full cradle-to-completion management of mechanical packages
* Coordination across multi-discipline project teams
* Attendance at site progress meetings
* Managing budgets, costs, variations, and commercial reporting
* Reviewing subcontractor quotations and appointing specialist partners
* Acting as the main point of contact for key retail clients
* Reviewing RAMS and permits to work
What We're Looking For
* HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
* Proven experience managing mechanical projects
* Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
* Strong commercial awareness
* Ability to manage multiple projects
* Full UK Driving Licence
* SMSTS / Manager-level CSCS - Desirable
