ABOUT THE ROLE The role will support the Head of Continuous Improvement initially on a 12 Month Fixed term Contract in embedding structured transformation practices, building programme visibility, and ensuring initiatives are delivered in a controlled, measurable, and sustainable way. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Programme Governance Establish and maintain programme plans, RAID logs, and reporting cadence Create portfolio visibility dashboards for Executive reporting Define and enforce quality gates and stage approvals Maintain decision logs and ensure clear governance documentation Project Delivery Support Support multiple concurrent improvement initiatives Ensure clear scope definition and change control discipline Track milestones, dependencies, and risks Monitor and support benefits realisation tracking Process Design & Optimisation Facilitate and document process mapping sessions Support operating model and ways of working improvements Embed structured delivery frameworks across initiatives Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination Liaise with internal teams and third-party suppliers Ensure actions are followed through to completion Maintain structured meeting rhythms and documentation standards KEY SKILLS Essential 47 years knowledge & experience in Project Management or PMO roles Strong organisational and reporting skills (Excel, dashboards, structured plans) Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable operating in evolving or ambiguous environments Desirable Experience in operational or service-based environments (Facilities Management desirable) Exposure to Continuous Improvement or Lean methodologies Experience working with multiple technology vendors Prince2, MSP, Agile, or equivalent certifications Personal Attributes Highly organised and detail-oriented Calm, structured, and solutions-focused Politically aware and confident engaging stakeholders at all levels Able to challenge constructively and influence outcomes Self-directed and comfortable working with autonomy.
