Your Role
As our Staff Engineer (Team Lead - Semantic Classification) you will lead a small team of people responsible for delivering Perception-based Actor Intent Recognition algorithms for Oxa Driver.
In this role you will be:
1. Working with primarily camera based imaging sensors, in addition to LIDAR, radar
2. Working alongside Machine Learning and C++ engineers to implement algorithms on-vehicle
3. Working closely with and support Stream Lead in developing and maintaining technical roadmaps to deliver Oxa Driver capabilities
4. Managing user acceptance testing, involving customers to ensure they are satisfied
5. Documenting technical specifications of delivered technical products/services
6. Implementing relevant analytics to track product performance and adoption
7. Monitoring compliance to applicable standards and practices, raise risks and issues
8. Establishing and maintain a successful deliverables track record
9. Driving standardisation and repeatability for algorithm development and testing
10. Working with Solutions customers and partners for successful deployments
11. Effectively handing over products to Solutions
12. Representing Oxa to customer stakeholders, ensuring technical and delivery excellence and acting as a trusted advisor
Requirements
What you need to succeed:
13. Knowledge and experience of State-of-the-art techniques for Action Intent Recognition, ideally for Road Users
14. Experience developing and training Machine Learning / Deep Learning algorithms with frameworks such as Tensorflow/Pytorch
15. Proficiency in Python with associated data processing / machine learning toolkits (Numpy, Scipy, Tensorflow/PyTorch, Jupyter notebooks, etc)
16. Able to collaborate closely with internal and external teams and build trust
17. Strong technical acumen and passion for learning
18. Coordination of people and milestone tracking
19. Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills
20. Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Extra kudos:
21. Experience working at the interface between software and hardware: deploying, configuring, debugging and evaluating.
22. Experience using project management tools to facilitate on time delivery
