Service Lead Brotton Full Time £26,294.05 per annum We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Lead to join our supported living service in Brotton. This is a key role where you’ll support the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred services, enabling people to achieve their individual goals and live full, valued lives within their community. Reporting to the Deputy Manager, you’ll support the effective leadership and management of services, providing guidance to staff teams and ensuring positive outcomes for the people we support. About the Role As a Service Lead, you will: Lead and support a cluster of services, including two supported living services and a small outreach service, in the Manager’s absence Support the day‑to‑day running of services to ensure agreed levels of support are delivered Complete staff rotas and provide supervision and guidance to staff teams Attend reviews with the people we support and contribute to positive outcomes Update and maintain support plans and risk assessments Complete medication and finance audits Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and promoted across services Act as a role model for staff, promoting good practice and positive values Lead, attend and contribute to team meetings and service user reviews Ensure medication procedures, activity timetables and daily routines are upheld Undertake specified managerial responsibilities contributing to overall service management Support on shift where required to meet the needs of the people we support You will also play a key role in assessing individuals and developing Person‑Centred Plans, supporting staff teams to implement these effectively. Working Pattern The role is typically 80% on shift and 20% off shift completing administrative duties Due to service needs, you may occasionally work 100% on shift Flexibility is essential and may include evenings, weekends and sleepover cover Experience & Qualifications Essential: Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care Demonstrable experience supporting people with learning disabilities in an enabling environment Strong understanding of, and commitment to, Person‑Centred Care Knowledge of the needs of people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex care Desirable: Experience leading or supervising a staff team Full UK driving licence Personal Qualities We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate: A positive attitude to the development of people with learning disabilities Ability to take responsibility and lead by example Good communication skills A strong commitment to people with learning disabilities Reliability, honesty and trustworthiness Flexibility to meet the needs of individuals and services You’ll have a rewarding role working with a supportive team and the opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives.
