Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover) Start Date: September 2026 End Date: May 2027 We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School based in Dukinfield, Tameside on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work across Year 3 and Year 4, supporting pupils and contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2. Work closely with class teachers in Year 3 and Year 4. Deliver high-quality classroom support across the curriculum. Independently lead whole-class sessions, including covering PPA for one full day per week. Provide supervision and support during lunchtime periods. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Extensive experience in Key Stage 2. Confidence in supporting a wide range of subjects across the curriculum. Proven ability to lead whole-class teaching sessions. Strong communication and organisational skills.
