We are looking for an Admissions Support Officer as part of our Admissions Team. Part-time: Thursday and Friday only.
What will be expected from me?
The purpose of this role is to process applications for primary schools and provide support for the admissions team, including advice to parents and schools on the admissions process.
What I might be doing?
1. You will process in-year primary school applications from parents and provide support in the processing of applications for admission and transfer to schools.
2. Plan workload to meet application deadlines, this could be up to 3 to 4 months in advance.
3. Ensure that children receive alternative school places where applicable, to meet statutory obligations to educate pupils in the district.

Essential requirements:
13. 5 GCSE or equivalent including English Language and a numeracy-based subject, normally mathematics.
14. General understanding of Education Service and overview of Education Services and the legislation that governs them.
15. previous administrative experience is essential.
16. ICT skills e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access
