I'm currently working with a leading regional law firm that is looking for a Senior Business Development and Marketing Executive to join their team in Edinburgh. The role also involves close collaboration with team leaders to drive BD plans forward and ensure strong return on investment from marketing and business development initiatives.
The Responsibilities:
* Design and implement structured engagement plans for key clients and referrers, track relationship health, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
* Conduct in-depth research on clients, competitors, and market trends to support business development strategy and deliver actionable insights through client intelligence reports.
* Lead the planning and submission process for legal directories, awards, and industry recognitions.
* Contribute to the creation and execution of integrated BD plans, prepare compelling tender responses, and promote collaboration across teams to drive new business opportunities.
* Support the business development elements of firm-wide projects, track progress and impact, and encourage the adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working.
The Candidate:
* Prior experience in a similar BD and/or marketing role, ideally within the professional services or legal sector.
* Proficient in relevant IT tools, including web publishing, social media, desktop publishing, and Excel.
