Data Scientist/ ML Engineer – Data-Driven Digital Agency
Location: Hybrid (London) or UK Remote

My client is a leading data-driven digital agency, seeking a Data Scientist/ ML Engineer to join their high-impact Marketing Sciences team. You'll work on cutting-edge data science projects that directly influence campaign performance, customer engagement, and revenue growth for major brands.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Build & Optimise Models: Design and implement predictive models including causal AI campaign modelling, forecasting engines, pricing elasticity models, and recommender systems.
* Lead Projects & People: Guide a team of data scientists across multiple projects, potentially upskilling team members.
* Deliver Business Impact: Use analytics to generate insights that improve client campaigns and marketing strategies.
* Prototype & Scale: Develop tools, frameworks, and prototypes to showcase capabilities.
* Client-Facing Influence: Present technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Document & Collaborate: Work cross-functionally, ensuring processes are documented and scalable.
Must-Have Experience:
* Extensive experience building machine learning models for marketing, including segmentation, recommendation, campaign optimisation, forecasting, etc.
* Proficiency in Python, SQL, Bash, Git; familiarity with Pandas, Jupyter, PyTorch.
* Experience with advanced techniques such as CausalAI, NLP, RNNs, GraphAI, GenAI, Computer Vision.
* Understanding of experimentation methods like A/B testing.
* Strong communication skills to translate complex analyses into actionable insights.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Knowledge of marketing measurement models like Media Mix Modelling (MMM).
* Familiarity with model versioning (MLFlow), API frameworks (FastAPI), dashboards (Dash, Streamlit).
