Your new role
This role is ideal for someone with solid practice experience who enjoys working closely with clients and being part of a supportive, collaborative team. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high‑quality service delivery across a range of sectors.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
2. Preparing financial statements for limitedpanies under FRS 102, with full working paper files for manager and partner review
3. Preparing corporation taxputations
4. Preparing personal taxputations
5. Preparing self‑assessment tax returns
6. Processing VAT returns and HMRC tax returns
7. VAT and bookkeeping work for larger clients
8. Preparing P11Ds
9. Preparing Tax reports
10. Assisting clients with monthly and quarterly management accounts
11. Ensuringpliance with UK GAAP/IFRS,panies Act 2006, and relevant tax legislation
12. Managing client queries and maintaining strong client relationships across a varied portfolio
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of three years’ experience working within a UK accountancy practice, with hands‑on experience managing client relationships. You will be qualified, part‑qualified ACA or ACCA, or qualified by experience. You will have strong experience preparing accounts for limitedpanies as well as for sole traders and partnerships. You should also have experience preparing corporation taxputations, personal tax returns, VAT returns, and HMRC submissions. A solid working knowledge of cloud accounting software is essential.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, and able to build strong client relationships. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to work independently within a small team environment, andmitted to delivering exceptional service. A proactive and reliable approach is essential.
