Pharmacy Technician – Royal Cornhill Hospital
Full Time, Permanent 37 hours. Salary: Band 4 – £31,537 – £34,303.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced role within a supportive and sociable team in the Royal Cornhill Hospital Pharmacy. You will play a key role in delivering a busy pharmacy service for inpatients and outpatients.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with dispensing for inpatients and outpatients.
* Undertake medicines management activities at ward level.
* Support the medicines reconciliation process.
* Check patients’ own medicines.
* Organise medicines supply for in‑patient stays and at discharge.
Qualifications:
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Previous experience in hospital, community or mental health pharmacy is helpful but not essential – successful candidates will receive training in all aspects of the role.
* For registered Pharmacy Technicians, commitment to weekend rota (approx. 1 in 8) and public holiday working (shared equally across the team).
