Date Posted: 2025-12-17 Country: United Kingdom Location: GBR02: Glenrothes, Scotland, Queensway Industrial Estate, Glenrothes, KY7 5PY Position Role Type: Unspecified Graduate Development Programme (GDP) - Join Raytheon UK Role: Product Test Development Graduate Engineer Location(s): Glenrothes/Livingston Travel : Occasional travel to UK facilities and overseas as required for the role and Early Careers events Starting Salary: £34,000 plus company benefits Type: Permanent - 2-year Graduate Development Programme (GDP), with biannual pay reviews Start Date : Monday 7 September 2026 Hours : Full-Time About the Role Responsible for the design, manufacture, verification and validation, along with through life technical support of board level, sub-system and system level test equipment. Main Duties: Design of functional test equipment To take responsibility for the design and overall quality of the equipment. Documentation of design specifications and implementation details. Take part in design reviews. Upholding of design standards and methodologies. Realisation of complex system requirements to provide robust and reliable test hardware solutions. Responsibility for the complete implementation of detailed technical items and an understanding/appreciation of system level items. Collaboration with other team members (including both hardware and software engineers) to agree system designs, interfaces and protocols etc. Development of appropriate test hardware and procedures, both informal and formal, to prove the correct operation of hardware. Provide support to manufacturing answering product queries & resolving technical issues. Provide support for the hardware and manage obsolescence throughout its lifecycle. Monitoring and reporting of progress of development to immediate supervisor and development team. Proactively support company compliance to Health and Safety legislation through adherence to company polices, processes and practices. Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies and ethics codes of conduct. Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management Application of IPDS Processes Contribute to engineering specific risks and opportunities. Support Project Gate/Design reviews Contribute to section/business area resource planning Ability to identify and engage the appropriate SME's to support the Test Development Engineering activities. Provide engineering interface to external customers/suppliers. Candidate Requirements Essential: Minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering (already achieved or to be completed by 7 September 2026) The successful candidate will be required to complete and obtain the Baseline Security Clearance application.
