Training Executive

a family-run pub company with deep roots in the North West and big plans for growth. With 29 managed pubs (and more on the way), were seeking a Training Executive to help us train and develop the next generation of talent across our estate.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People Development, you will play a key role in designing and delivering training across our managed pub estate. Each day will bring new challenges and the opportunity to make a real impact on the teams that make our pubs thrive.
Youll work closely with General Managers to support the development of their teams, helping to create high-performing environments that consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programmes across various business areas
Identify training needs and skill gaps through regular assessments, site visits, and feedback from managers
Develop and maintain training materials using CPL or a similar learning management system
Support onboarding and induction for new team members
Assist in talent development and succession planning within the estate
Monitor training effectiveness and suggest improvements where necessary
Be a key player in driving our customer satisfaction and service excellence goals
About You
A background in the pub or wider hospitality industry is
essential
Experienced in delivering in-house training and creating structured learning programmes
Able to identify training needs and translate them into effective, measurable development plans
Familiar with CPL or similar platforms for learning content creation and management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
Commutable distance from Stockport, with a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
A friendly, approachable personality with a passion for people development
