Your new roleAn excellent career opportunity for a Construction Planner to join a reputable Northern Irish contractor on a permanent basis. This role will see you work closely with the pre-construction works and be involved in the tender elements of planning as well as having your own assigned site programmes. Duties and responsibilities will include.Assist & prepare Tender Programme into Master Construction Programme Report against Master Programme to Contract Directors and Senior Management Modify Master Programme to Mitigate against delays.Prepare Tender Programmes and Method Statements as required.Assist in the preparation of project logistics and method statements. Periodically review key projects to ensure programmepliance.Utilise ASTA software to develop ongoing programmes and lookaheads. Maintain a database of programmes on Gateway.
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this position you must be a highly motivated and career minded individual who is seeking an opportunity with a contractor who can provide longevity and career development. You must bemercially aware and technically proficient using Construction Planning software, preferably ASTA however, MS Project is also acceptable. You will have proven experience in a similar role as well as be able to manage information in an orderly fashion and be capable of working to tight deadlines. UK travel will be required with the role being based in Belfast on Monday and Friday, and travel anticipated to the mainland UK 2 nights a week.
