This is initially a fixed term position for 10 months.
The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for the administration of all aspects of the Teaching School Hub’s work. This will involve liaising with Ambition Institute, key partners across Barnet, Brent and Enfield and all of the 307 schools in our Hub region. The post holder will provide the administrative support required to ensure that all the schools are registered and supported to access the Ambition resources and portal and engage with the TSH’s areas of responsibility. The successful applicant will be fully supported to develop their knowledge and skills for the role.
The person will also be responsible for maintaining the Director of Quality Assurance and Teaching School Hub’s calendar and scheduling all appointments and assisting in preparation for meetings and presentations. The post-holder will be responsible for handling correspondence, managing and scheduling appointments, taking notes and preparing reports.
Main duties and responsibilities
* The main point of contact, responsible for all administration and liaison with Ambition Institute.
* The first point of contact for the TSH (all partners and schools across Barnet, Brent and Enfield).
* The main contact for handling and responding to all correspondence including phone calls, emails and letters.
* Maintaining a filing system. Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
* Planning conferences, workshops, seminars and other events.
* Setting reminders for TSH deadlines, meetings, appointments and other important tasks.
* Taking notes at meetings, preparing the minutes and subsequently distributing to all participants.
* Scheduling appointments and organising diary entries.
* Compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
* Liaising with other members of the WMAT team, staff and external agencies.
* Booking and arranging travel, transport as required.

Skills and qualifications
* Fluent use of the common IT packages - standard word processing, excel spreadsheet, publisher and other productivity software tools.
