MSK Physiotherapist – Health Partners
Role Overview
We are recruiting a passionate MSK Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary musculoskeletal team at Health Partners. The successful candidate will be based on-site at our client’s sites in Govan and Scotstoun, Scotland, supporting employees with musculoskeletal health concerns and injuries. A driving licence is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions.
* Effectively rehabilitate employees with MSK disorders, whether work-related or not.
* Maintain comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
* Collect and analyse statistical information to support report generation.
* Contribute to or run health promotion events.
* Classify presenting musculoskeletal disorders into work‑related categories.
* Prepare fitness‑to‑work reports and recommend adjustments (short‑term, long‑term, or permanent).
* Communicate effectively with the wider occupational health team.
* Conduct Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments and provide prophylactic advice.
* Identify workplace hazards and assess the risk of these hazards causing or aggravating MSK ill health.
Essential Requirements
* Degree (MSc or BSc) in Physiotherapy.
* Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Preferably a minimum of 2 years specialising in musculoskeletal care, or for new graduates a strong desire to specialise in this area.
* Proficient in IT and comfortable using relevant systems.
* Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Customer‑focused, flexible, efficient, and highly organised.
* Able to plan and prioritise work to achieve objectives set in collaboration with the Team Leader.
Desirable Skills And Qualifications
* Knowledge of workplace ergonomics and fitness‑for‑work assessments.
* Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
* Membership of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE).
Hours and Location
Full time (37.5 hours per week). Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am to 4:45 pm; Friday: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. On‑site working at client sites in Govan and Scotstoun, Scotland.
Salary
Experienced clinicians: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Newly qualified staff: starting salary of £32,000 per annum, rising following completion of the Graduate Training Programme.
