The hotel pool lifeguard ensures a safe, enjoyable pool experience for all guests by actively monitoring pool activity, enforcing safety guidelines, and responding swiftly to emergencies. With a focus on guest well-being, the lifeguard also provides friendly, professional service and maintains a welcoming environment for swimmers of all ages.
Pay range $16-$17 per hour, looking for full and part time hours.

Skills Required
The hotel pool lifeguard must possess strong observational skills to monitor guest activity and ensure safety, along with excellent communication abilities to clearly explain pool rules and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner. The role requires the ability to remain calm under pressure, respond quickly in emergencies, and demonstrate a customer-focused, friendly attitude. Physical fitness, knowledge of water safety protocols, and attention to cleanliness and safety standards are essential. A team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with hotel staff are also important for success in this role.
Experience / Education
Previous lifeguard/aquatic experience preferred. Must have current CPR/First Aid certificate and be certified as a lifeguard by American Red Cross or another national organization.
Performance Measurement
* 90 Day performance review, on-going feedback from supervisor, attendance, productivity, feedback from others, Guest Response scores, etc.
