We are seeking a Shift Production Manager to lead production operations, planning, quality, H&S and overall efficiency in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, made‑to‑order environment.

Key Responsibilities
* The leadership of manufacturing/production operations, covering both automated and labour‑intensive processes, while seeking to automate where possible.
* The development and promotion of lean manufacturing techniques such as 5 S, 6 Sigma, VSM, SMED, TPM, OEE etc across operations.
* Supporting the move to a new state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing environment and overseeing a team of circa 30 operatives.
* Identifying opportunities to further automate manufacturing processes.
* Developing multi‑functional/flexible manufacturing teams across operations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous senior production/manufacturing leadership experience (e.g., Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Shift Operations Manager, Shift Production Manager, Production Lead, etc.).
* Leadership and people‑management skills with the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve teams.
* Resilient & energetic with good influencing & communication skills – credible at all levels from shop floor to exec.
* Ability to lead production activities, KPI metrics, analysing results to recommend and implement required performance improvements.
* Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing/engineering environment, practically implementing continuous improvement tools and techniques – Lean and Six Sigma.

The position reports to the Site Operations Manager and provides a high level of influence and autonomy within the business, along with opportunities for both personal and career development.
