The Exeter home is due to open in late 2025, and our client is seeking a passionate, experienced Registered Manager to lead its setup and ongoing success. You'll ensure compliance, quality, and emotionally attuned care for children affected by trauma. Key Responsibilities: Embed a trauma-informed, child-centred culture Lead operations, compliance, and quality assurance Act as safeguarding lead Recruit, develop, and supervise staff Maintain inspection-ready records Build strong relationships with children, families, and professionals Oversee care plans and risk assessments Model emotionally intelligent leadership Candidate Profile Essential: Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager Deep understanding of safeguarding and Children's Homes Regulations Proven leadership and team development skills Emotional resilience and excellent communicationDesirable: Experience in therapeutic or trauma-informed settings Familiarity with Regulation 44/45 processes Knowledge of PACE, restorative practice, or sensory regulation Commitment to reflective leadership and continuous improvement Interested?
