This role gives you the chance to take ownership of a busy Parts Department where your decisions have a direct impact on customer service and branch results.
What you will do You will coordinate and distribute the teams workload to maximise parts sales while keeping a close eye on stock quality and quantities.
You will also manage a small team, developing their skills and ensuring they deliver excellent service.
Your key responsibilities include: Organising and maintaining the Parts Department, ensuring a clean, efficient, and safe working environment.
Executing all parts processes accurately and consistently.
Managing supplier and manufacturer relationships to secure competitive pricing.
Submitting parts warranty and return claims within required timeframes to achieve maximum credit.
Overseeing the day-to-day running of the department to meet branch performance targets.
Training, developing, and motivating your team.
Ensuring customers receive a high-quality service that consistently exceeds expectations.
What you will bring 35 years experience in the parts business.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide others.
Confidence in analysing and interpreting internal reports.
Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with John Deere products and competitors.
Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
