Role overview:
Content Executive’s are pivotal in ensuring consistency across all necessary channels and our responsible territories. Working with other departments to create industry-leading assets, while assisting on various digital campaigns and aiding junior members in their day to day roles.
Responsibilities:
* Be a key component on managing the creative aspects of the JD EMEA Content estate, through managing briefs to our creative studio, handling the assets and uploading these to ensure we achieve our goal of being a best-in-class E-Commerce site.
* Working with the wider team to develop site improvements for JD that drive conversion across all purchasing funnels and devices.
* Ensure brand guidelines and creative consistency is executed. Making sure all of these channels are fully up to date with the latest campaign and marketing imagery.
* Ensure that the customer journey is smooth and effective from all marketing touch points through to purchase.
* General support to junior members of the team – both onboarding and generic teamwork duty.
* Leading on projects across a wide range of focus areas – controlling from idea stage and seeing the project through to execution and analysis.
* Complete daily site checks of key devices through testing and review of customer interactions.
* Proficient in utilising third-party tools at an intermediate level
Role objectives and KPI’s:
* Develop strong relationships across the business including with the merchandising, marketing, retail & buying teams.
* All campaign metrics are constantly improving – for example, engagement and conversion rate is constantly kept above a set benchmark. While aiding on the design and ensuring we’re always industry-leading (by coming up with your own weekly content report, using both individual and competitor research)
* New starters are onboarded into the team seamlessly – leading on training sessions and being an ample safety net to them at all times.
Skills and Experience:
* 2+ years’ experience in content-focused/holistic marketing role with demonstrated experience in multiple formats
* Committed to working as part of a team
* Experience in a fast-paced environment, delivering creative output
* Working knowledge of omni-channel best practices
