Are you passionate about learning and development? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where quality and compliance are non-negotiable? Torbay Pharmaceuticals is looking for a proactive Learning Coordinator, focusing on GMP to help embed a culture of excellence across our operations.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll be right in the heart of our clean rooms, packaging lines, labs, and warehouse. You’ll be the driving force behind our GMP training programmes, ensuring our teams are skilled, compliant, and always ready to deliver life-saving medicines.
What you can expect in a Learning Coordinator role at TP:
* Coordinate and schedule GMP training sessions, including onboarding, refresher, and role-specific learning.
* Develop and maintain training curricula tailored to job roles and compliance needs
* Assist with the creation, review, and formatting of training materials, SOPs, presentations, and e-learning content.
* Manage training logistics including room bookings, materials distribution, attendance tracking, and communication.
* Maintain accurate and compliant training records in electronic and/or paper-based systems (e.g., LMS).
* Generate and analyse training compliance reports; follow up with departments to ensure timely completion.
* Support audits and inspections with training documentation and insights
* Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to keep training content aligned with current GMP regulations and operational practices.
* Monitor learning effectiveness and support continuous improvement
* Take part in delivery of learning programmes where appropriate
What are we looking for:
We don’t expect someone to have everything on the list below, but we do want passion. If you have a passion for learning, are willing to roll your sleeves up and get to grip with our manufacturing and technical colleagues then we want to hear from you!
* Experience in a learning or training role, ideally within manufacturing
* A basic understanding of GMP (or willingness to learn)
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Competent user of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point) and a desire and ability to expand PC skills.
* Great communicator, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
* Ability to always work confidentially. This role is part of the wider People team and so will encounter sensitive and confidential information.
