About the Role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of activities that enhance the quality of life, wellbeing, and independence of our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing joy, companionship, and meaningful engagement to older people in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, organise, and deliver a wide range of group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
* Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet individual needs, including those living with dementia.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to create a welcoming and stimulating atmosphere.
* Organise special events, seasonal celebrations, and trips where appropriate.
* Maintain accurate records of activities, participation, and resident preferences.
* Support residents' emotional and social wellbeing through conversation, companionship, and encouragement.
* Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure activities complement residents' care plans.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.80 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
Work Location: In person
