The specific role that we are recruiting to is:
IT Governance Manager -
The IT function has recently adopted a risk-based IT Governance framework across IT and related council services in order to successfully reduce risk factors and ensure due diligence and accountability across revenue finance, policies, business continuity and audit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evolving this approach further, to optimise the Council’s IT risk and compliance practices in line with regulatory requirements and council needs. You will also play a key role in supporting the Head of IT Service Management to engage with senior IT leads and council stakeholders to determine and manage the Council’s awareness and appetite for risk.
