About the Role

We are a leading youth homelessness charity based in the Southwest, supporting over 1,500 young people. The Dispersed Housing team is passionate and hardworking, working to help young people moving on from homelessness achieve their goals and aspirations. We welcome applications from individuals who are currently under‑represented, including those from Black/Black British backgrounds, Muslim and male candidates, and anyone with lived experience.


Responsibilities

* Develop individual support plans to promote independent living skills, including accommodation, Employability, Employment and Training (EET) and wellbeing, helping young people achieve independence.
* Use knowledge and creativity to maximise income, manage rent accounts, address arrears, and ensure optimum income is achieved.
* Explore proactive move‑on options with young people, supporting them toward independent living through problem‑solving skills.
* Be well organised, efficient, and effective when undertaking a host of housing management tasks, such as preparing properties for letting and conducting health and safety checks to ensure the safety of young people, colleagues, and properties.


Contract Details

* Contract type: Permanent
* Location: Kingsley Hall near Bristol’s main train and bus stations; some flexibility for working from home.
