Area to be covered: South West and South Wales
Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 + 8% bonus

Role Overview
The role of the Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls will involve:
1. Field sales position selling a manufactured range of heating control systems and newly launched smart thermostat for radiators.
2. Majority of your time will be spent selling to housing associations, housebuilders, social housing organisations, plumbing & heating contractors & installers.
3. The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to/managing plumbing & heating merchants, electrical wholesalers and independent merchants accounts.
4. Offering advice on promotions, merchandising (small amount), providing support, technical input, passing on sales leads etc.
5. Targeted to achieve circa £1m revenue.
6. Four days a week on the road, one day a week (Friday) working from home – administration.
Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be a Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls with:
1. Ideally 2 years+ construction external field sales experience.
2. Plumbing & heating/electrical market experience is not essential but may be useful.
3. May consider a branch manager for a plumbing and heating merchant or electrical wholesaler.
4. Would consider someone more junior in their career.
5. Ideally sold to plumbing & heating contractors/installers.
6. Ideally managed merchants, distributors or electrical wholesale accounts.
7. Enthusiastic, and comfortable working with an evolving business.
8. Must be IT literate.
9. IEE electrical/electronics HNC/HND or equivalent would be a bonus.
10. Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills.
