Job Description
With this role you will be supporting a teenage boy with complex care needs in his home. He lives with his mum and attends school on a reduced timetable. Our client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and learning difficulties. We are looking for a Registered Paediatric Nurse who will bring energy, empathy and enthusiasm to every shift.
You will be someone who values building strong relationships and providing high quality and attentive care.
The key duties with this role include:
* Seizure management
* Peg feeding
* Medication administration
* Play therapy/stimulation
* Personal care
* Manual handling
* Suction
Qualifications
What you'll need
* Registered Childrens Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin
* Commitment to providing the best possible care for the client
* To be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring, and compassionate
* Previous paediatric nurse experience
* Experience in peg feeding and catheter care is also essential.
