Overview
We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pharmacy Department at The Beardwood Hospital. This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, providing cover for busy periods and for staff on annual leave or absence.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* Good general education including literacy and numeracy skills.
* Experience in a customer service, healthcare, or stock-handling role.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under supervision.
Duties Of This Role Include
* Support the delivery of an excellent clinical, operational and governance based medicine management service.
* Distribute medicines to all areas of the hospital.
* Stock manage medicines within the hospital.
* Provide a dispensing service for medicines that may be required.
* Procure and receive medicines for the hospital.
Salary & Benefits
