A fantastic opportunity to join a tier one contractor delivering a 2.5-year highway project in Oxfordshire. My client, an award-winning and leading Civil Engineering company, is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer / Section Engineer to join the delivery team on a £110 million highway project involving new bus lanes, cycle paths, road widening etc.
As a Site Engineer / Section Engineer, you will:
* Produce/review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
* Set-out using GPS equipment.
* Identify/raise/record TQs, NCRs, ITPs, and changes to the scope of works.
* Prepare/raise Temporary Work Briefs.
* Manage/Mentor Site Engineers, checking dimension accuracy and quality.
* Communicate the weekly programme to site staff.
Our client requires a Site Engineer / Section Engineer with:
* HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
* A thorough understanding of NEC, construction working methods, and procedures.
* Experience working on Highway projects.
* Prior experience as a Site/Setting Out Engineer.
* CSCS card.
Salary/Benefits:
* £45,000 to £52,000 per annum
