The requirements of the Product & Application Specialist will be:
* To provide technical & advisory support to engineers and customers on a range of Road Equipment products.
* Assist the sales department with demonstrations, technical modifications, including the preparation of documentation.
* Investigate, diagnose repeat failures and liaise with relevant individuals as appropriate. Providing high quality reports.
* Advise on technical warranty claims and procedures with suppliers and internal warranty department
* Deliver engaging, learner focussed technical training both internally and externally on all Road Machinery products
The ideal candidate for Product & Application Specialist will have:
* Proven experience in the construction or heavy machinery industry, specifically with road equipment.
* Strong technical background, ideally holding an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Construction Equipment.
* Experience delivering training to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
* Demonstrable ability to engage with customers and build lasting relationships.
* Ability to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally for client meetings and product demonstrations.
