You’ll inspire and educate staff, promote best practices, and ensure compliance with aged care standards. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, supporting complex care needs, and maintaining accreditation under the Aged Care Act. This role is a Maternity Leave cover Key Responsibilities Lead and manage care teams, ensuring optimal staffing and team performance. Oversee clinical care, including assessments, care plans, and compliance with best practices. Promote continuous improvement through quality initiatives and risk management. Mentor and educate staff to maintain high standards of care and professional development. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and relevant legislation. About You To be considered, you will need Minimum 4 years’ experience as an RN within the aged care sector Current AHPRA registration Sound knowledge ANACC, care planning, Aged Care standards and auditing Ability to provide management and leadership which develops trust and good qualities in all team members An understanding of the impact of complex care needs and a demonstrated ability to apply high level of clinical knowledge (including palliative care and dementia care). Willingness to work after hours On Call Rotation Alignment with BaptistCare’s Christian values of Love, Respect, Reliability, and Empowerment Desirable Qualifications: Postgraduate qualifications in Management, dementia,Gerontology, or Training and Assessment.
