Job Title: Operational Director of Children\'s Services UK
Salary: £77,576 per annum (increasing to £86,196 in 18 months) + £750 Homeworking Allowance
Hours & Contract: 35 hours per week - Permanent role
Location: Homebased - covering five of TACT\'s registered offices in Scotland, Yorkshire and The North East, North West England, North Wales and East Midlands

This opportunity has arisen for a new Operational Director of Children\'s Services within TACT Fostering. The role will oversee five of TACT\'s Registered Area offices spanning three nations and contribute to our ambitious strategic plan to increase our ability to care for more children whose needs are not currently being met by the care sector.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the foster care sector and, ideally, wider experience working across services that support children and families. We are looking for a strong strategic and commercial leader with robust people leadership skills, experience in managing change, and the ability to work in innovative and fast-paced environments. The role requires leadership in trauma informed practices as part of our organisational development.

Experience in foster care and related services; ability to lead strategically and commercially; strong people management skills; commitment to trauma informed principles.

The Operational Director of Children\'s Services can be based anywhere in the UK. Travel will be required to attend face-to-face team meetings and on other occasions for training and team wellbeing events.
An Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role and will be processed by TACT on your behalf.
