Role Overview
The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position demands strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving to help meet production targets and maintain high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet daily and weekly production goals.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
* Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Manage shift schedules and allocate resources effectively to optimise workflow.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
* Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for senior management.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications and Experience
* A minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or industrial production environments.
* Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
* Good organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
* Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
