Your Responsibilities
As the Food Service Director, you will oversee the food service program at our facility, ensuring top-notch quality and safety standards. Your role will include:
* Leading and supporting the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
* Maintaining accurate records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment.
* Conducting staff training and quality control sessions; stepping in as needed for various roles.
* Effectively communicating directives from client managers and administrators to the HCSG staff.
* Ensuring a sanitary environment by following infection control and safety procedures.
* Representing HCSG positively through courteous interactions with all stakeholders.
* Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
* Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
* Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred.
* Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment.
* Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications within the first 60 days.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Positive attitude and effective communication with all team members.
* Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
* Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine tasks continuously.
* Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
* Residency within the service area is required.
